Explosive Hazards (EH) Awareness and Reduction are those actions which lessen the probability and/or severity of physical injury to people, property or the environment. The EH Awareness and Reduction course focuses on providing adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes to facilitate understanding and behaviour changes of people (target groups) at risk.

Training-of-Trainers Course

The Training-of-Trainers (ToT) course is designed to prepare instructors from Central Asia and Afghanistan to deliver Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Explosive Hazards Awareness and Reduction Courses on a national and international level. The ToT is intended to equip prospective instructors with the understanding of specific training methods and methodologies for training adults as well as how to design, deliver, evaluate and follow-up training event.

Visit of OSCE Ambassadors to the Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre of MOD RT

On October 8, 2019 a group of twenty-one Permanent Representatives to the OSCE visited an exhibition organized by the ICexH programme team and the OSCE Border unit at Regional Explosive Hazards training centre of MOD RT in Chimteppa Regiment.

OSCE supports inauguration of Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre of Tajikistan’s Defence Ministry

High-level representatives from Tajikistan’s Ministry of Defence, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe and the United States Embassy participated in the official inauguration of a Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Defence on 6 August 2019 in Dushanbe.

The establishment of the Centre was initiated under the Memorandum of Understanding between the OSCE extra-budgetary project “Integrated Co-operation on Explosive Hazards Programme” and the Defence Ministry signed in November 2017.
